Why did the registration fees go up this year?

1) CVSD raised their rates that CVYBA is charged to use the gyms.  We do not pay "rent" to CVSD for using the gyms but we are required to pay an hourly rate for a janitorial or security staff person every hour that we use the gym.  This increased expense (this expense doubled this past season) along with lower revenue forced us to raise our registration fees.

2) Lack of fundraising revenue the past 3 years has forced us to incease our registration fees so we do not have to rely on as much fundraising revenue to meet our expenses.  Fundraising revenue is down over 67% over the past 3 years.  Our registration fees do not cover the overall cost for your child to particiate in our program.  We rely on fundraising revenue to help offset that cost so we can try to keep our fees low.  The more fundraising revenue we can generate will help keep our registration fees the same or possibly lower them.

3) Overall most of our operating expenses have increased and some are forcasted to increase this season.

 

 

 

 

 

Late Registration Fees

1 Child in grades 2 throug 12 $130 per child
Late Registration Fee for 2 children in grades 2 thru 12:$115 per child
Late Registration Fee for 3 children in grades 2 thru 12:$105 per child
1st Grade Program (there are no late fees)$20 per child
Credit for reuse of high school jersey (grades 8 thru 12 only). You can deduct $5 by using last season's black and white reversible jersey.(-$5) credit

Fee for Late Registration (after 9/17/2010). $25 per late child
  • Late registrants are not guaranteed placement on a team. Late registrants not placed on a team will be refunded the full registration fee.
  • Registration closes 11/22/2010.
  • Military families with spouses deployed play for free.
  • Scholarships available

 

Refund Policy

  • Players withdrawing prior to November 22 will be refunded the registration fee less $20.
  • Players withdrawing on or after November 22 will not get a refund.
