CVYBA has a number of events outside of practices and games that often get overlooked because coaches are so focused on what's going on in the gym. The Team Parent is there to assist them in these areas.

CVYBA also has a number of principles that are often tough to monitor in the middle of a game or practice. The Team Parent helps organize all the parents to help keep kids out of hallways, etc.

Each year a Team Parent meeting will be held to provide some guidance for parents willing to serve in this role.
