Waiting List Policies Print E-mail

When age levels fill, CVYBA puts new registrants on 'waiting lists'.  Our goal is to get every player playing while maintaining the quality of our league.

CVYBA is bound by constraints on gym space.  As a result, we use experience and guessing to estimate how many children will sign up for each age level, and attempt to distribution gym evenly to all teams.

When a child signs up for an age level that is full, we put them on a 'wait list'.  Three things can happen after that:

  1. an earlier registered child drops out, and a player is added in order from the wait list
  2. another team is added at that age level which moves 10 players from wait list to playing status, or
  3. the player's registration and money are returned.

CVYBA does not make any decisions on wait lists until November when we have a handle on court time and teams.
