Many school and travel coaches have told me that we need to teach the 'Triple Threat' more..  What is triple threat?  How do you teach it?  Read on..

There are 3 things you can do with the ball when you catch a pass, two of them don't need to be taught:  dribble and shoot.  The third - passing - requires teaching, but the concept of triple threat is that you want to save all three.  The first threat is the pass, second the shot, third the dribble.  Here's a picture and description of the position:

You can teach this in alot of different ways.  Instead of a basic layup, require them to TT first.  When running plays, empahsize TT.  Here's one I'm going to try:
