Basketball Programs for all CV Students K through 12th
Kindergarten Program
3-4 Saturdays focusing on basketball fundamentals. This program is designed to give your child a better understanding of basketball skills needed to play in our recreation program.
1st Grade Program
There will be one session each week. In this program the focus is on basketball fundamentals and teamwork. Players will start the season in open gym style practice sessions for a few weeks and then teams will form. Once teams are formed there will be 1 practice during the week and 1 game on a Saturday.
Recreation Program
CVYBA Travel Program
CVYBA offers a travel program for any player in 4th through 8th grades. Travel teams participate in local tournaments and are seperate from our recreation program. Travel Team Tryouts are held in September and the season usually runs through March.
Outdoor Summer Program
CVYBA runs outdoor summer programs for Travel and Rec players. Pick up session are available for players to attend when available without commitment. In addition to drills, teams are formed for informal games. All games will be played at Pleasant View Park, in Silver Spring Township, in the Cumberland Valley School District. The address is 90 Pleasant View Drive, Mechanicsburg, Pa 17050.
